IMMANUEL KIM is an associate in the M&A and Private Equity group in the firm’s New York office. Immanuel’s practice involves representing clients in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and shareholder activism or defense matters. Immanuel also represents clients in financing transactions.
Prior to joining Sidley, Immanuel interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, the New York State Supreme Court and the Securities Litigation and Arbitration Clinic at his law school.
Immanuel received his J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law where he was an articles & notes editor on the Fordham Law Review, a Stein Scholar and the academic & mentorship chair of the Asian-Pacific American Law Students Association. Immanuel also competed in Fordham’s inaugural Transactional LawMeet® team and was a regional semifinalist, was awarded the Mary Daly Prize for Legal Ethics at graduation and received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award (magna cum laude) for his dedication to public service.
Immanuel is fluent in Korean.
