MARIA-ORAIOZILI KOUTSOUPIA advises life sciences and medtech clients on all EU law aspects of product lifecycle management including market access and supply chains, advanced therapies, and digital health.
Maria-Oraiozili has extensive experience in supporting leading international clients across various industries, including in the pharmaceutical sector, medical devices, biotechnology, food and food contact materials, cosmetics, and novel products (GMOs). In the recent past, Maria-Oraiozili has assisted clients in relation to advertising and promotional activities, market researches, quality controls, import authorizations, pricing and reimbursement schemes, distribution licensing, labelling of products, SPC requirements, clinical trials, preceptorship and proctorship programs, transparency obligations, CE certification, and adverse events reporting. She guides and represents clients in their interactions with HCPs, private entities, state agencies, and in court proceedings, through all stages of marketing authorization and market access, in clinical trial procedures, pharmacovigilance incidents, and participation in tender procedures.
Maria-Oraiozili also focuses on digital health and artificial intelligence, an area she has also researched academically. Prior to joining Sidley, Maria-Oraiozili worked as a Life Sciences Associate at leading law firms in Athens and in Brussels.
