KA WON (KAY) LEE advises clients on a range of regulatory, compliance, and enforcement matters, including U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulatory issues. Her practice focuses on a wide range of matters involving regulatory oversight under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and the Food and Drug Administration Modernization Act.
Kay received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as president of the Health Law Society, social co-chair of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA), and director of internal competitions for the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) division of Barristers’ Council. She also externed at the D.C. Department of Health in the Office of General Counsel. In addition, Kay was a student member of the Harrison Institute for Public Law, where she was focused her practice on policies addressing health and food.
Prior to law school, Kay worked in health care management and consulting for facilities providing comprehensive health services for older adults from underserved communities.
Kay received her Master of Dispute Resolution (M.D.R.) from Pepperdine University, her Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) from University of California, Berkeley, and her B.A. from Duke University.
