ALEXIS LU is a member of the firm’s White Collar: Government Litigation & Investigations practice group. She advises on corporate investigations, government enforcement matters, compliance counseling and U.S. litigation.
Alexis’ practice has an emphasis on cross-border and Asia-related internal investigations, litigation and matters arising under the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and other U.S. laws. She has extensive experience representing multinational corporate clients across major industries, including pharmaceutical, medical devices, telecommunications, manufacturing and consumer products in their internal investigations and parallel investigations by federal regulators, including the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). She also has substantive experience in handling anti-corruption and compliance due diligence matters, as well as working with clients to develop and enhance their compliance programs.
Alexis also defends U.S.-listed companies based in Asia in putative class actions brought under U.S. federal securities laws in U.S. federal and state courts, and has successfully secured the dismissal of such actions on dispositive motions.
