KAYLEIGH MCNELIS is an associate in Sidley’s Houston office where she advises clients on corporate and securities matters and mergers and acquisitions. Kayleigh regularly assists clients in U.S. capital markets transactions and advises clients regarding periodic SEC reporting, corporate governance and compliance matters, as well as public and private acquisitions and divestitures. Kayleigh has represented both issuers and underwriters in initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, registered direct offerings, at-the-market (ATM) offerings, tender offers and private placements. Kayleigh has worked with exploration and production companies, midstream companies, upstream companies, oilfield services companies, investment funds and investment banks.
Kayleigh earned her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law. In 2011, she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in political communication and a B.A. in sociology, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
