DAVID MOLLO-CHRISTENSEN is a partner in the firm's New York office and a member of the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice.
Dave counsels clients on a broad range of executive compensation and employee benefits matters, with a particular focus on M&A and private equity transactions. He represents public, strategic, and private equity clients in connection with all types of transactions, including the acquisition and disposition of portfolio companies, strategic acquisitions, and divestitures and global public mergers.
He also advises companies in connection with IPOs, SPACs, spin-offs, and joint ventures and has extensive experience negotiating employment and separation agreements, designing equity-based and other incentive arrangements, and advising companies regarding SEC regulatory and federal securities law compliance and disclosure obligations.
In 2022, Dave was ranked in Chambers USA as an “Up and Coming” lawyer in Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation, where sources note “"He is fantastic. He is particularly strong in providing practical guidance…has a superior grasp on the law as well as the practical implications of deal making …[and]…inspires confidence in…leadership teams.” Dave has also been consistently recognized by New York Metro Super Lawyers magazine as a “Rising Star” since 2015.
Prior to joining Sidley, Dave was counsel at another global law firm in their executive compensation group.
