BRIDGET MURPHY, a managing associate in the Litigation group in the firm’s Chicago office, focuses her practice on products liability and class action defense matters. Bridget has substantial experience representing clients in the pharmaceutical and consumer products industries. Bridget also maintains an active pro bono practice, including successfully representing two former prisoners in connection with motions to reduce their federal sentences to time served.
Bridget graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame Law School. While in law school, Bridget served as the executive articles editor for the Notre Dame Law Review, as an oralist on the Moot Court Board, and as a teaching assistant for first-year courses. She received her B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin.
Previously, Bridget clerked for the Honorable Michael Y. Scudder, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
