ERIKA PRINGLE advises clients on complex employee issues resulting from mergers and acquisitions (buy-side and sell-side), financings, spinoffs, and divestitures. She also advises clients on a variety of corporate governance matters.
Erika leverages the more than 10 years of management and project management experience that she has to provide tailored, timely, and creative solutions to her clients. Prior to a career in law, she served as administrator for a regulatory agency and as managing director for a boutique consulting firm. As administrator, Erika had statewide oversight of program operations, budget, staffing, media outreach, reporting, compliance, and enforcement. In her consulting role she brought value to her clients by identifying efficient solutions to address their complex operational concerns. Erika counseled stakeholders in various areas from small businesses to government agencies. Her clients came to rely on her strategic and organizational guidance to make key decisions and advance critical initiatives. This diverse experience gained prior to joining Sidley leaves Erika well positioned to serve as a trusted adviser to clients today.
During law school, Erika was a member of the Georgetown Law Journal and she served as an extern in the general counsel’s office of a large university hospital and health system, where she worked directly with the general counsel and associate general counsel on legal matters including employment investigations, organizational strategy, and compliance in higher education and healthcare.
