MARK PRIOR is an associate in the firm’s Los Angeles Office and focuses on privacy, cybersecurity, data protection and emerging technology matters as a member of the firm’s Privacy and Cybersecurity practice. He counsels clients on a range of data governance and emerging technology issues in the context of mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements, vendor management, data breach response, privacy program management, and regulatory enforcement and compliance. He works with companies across a variety of industries including in the technology, healthcare, financial, media, and telecommunications sectors.
Mark also has experience litigating a variety of complex commercial matters including securities, copyright, trademark, and contract disputes.
Mark earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School. While in law school, he was an extern at the United States Attorney's Office for the Central District of California. He graduated with a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley with Highest Distinction.
