ASHA RAMAKUMAR focuses her practice on commercial litigation and disputes.
Asha earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School. She received her B.A. from Arizona State University - Barrett, the Honors College, in Business (Global Politics); a minor in Women and Gender Studies; and a certificate in Health Care Policy and Delivery.
Prior to joining Sidley, Asha was a pro bono fellow with the PETA Foundation.
While attending Harvard Law School, Asha served as an executive content editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Gender and as the co-president of the Harvard Animal Law Society.
Asha received the 2023 Brooks McCormick Jr. Animal Law and Policy Program Writing Prize for her paper titled “Toward Interspecies Reproductive Justice.”
