DAVID SILLERS is counsel in the Commercial Litigation and Disputes section in Sidley’s Dallas office. He focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation, and has litigated a variety of disputes in state and federal court, including those involving antitrust issues, complex arbitrations, mortgage-backed securities, director and officer liability, and employment disputes involving issues of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements. David has experience in taking and defending depositions as well as extensive experience drafting dispositive and discovery motions.
David is co-chair of the Dallas office’s Diversity Committee as well as a member of the Hiring Committee.
Prior to joining Sidley, David served as a law clerk to the Honorable Barbara M.G. Lynn, U.S.D.J. for the Northern District of Texas from 2008–2009.
David earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School where he was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship from 2005–2008. He received his A.B., cum laude, in Politics from Princeton University.
