Jacob Sitto

JACOB SITTO regularly advises clients in connection with all aspects of their trading, structuring, and documenting of derivatives and securities transactions. He also represents alternative asset managers in the organization and operation of private funds, including hedge funds, venture capital funds, private equity funds, co-investment funds, hybrid funds, credit funds, special opportunity funds, single investor funds, separately managed accounts, and other alternative asset investment vehicles.

Prior to joining Sidley, Jacob was an associate at a boutique law firm in Chicago where his practice focused on the negotiation and documentation of trading and financing arrangements. He also completed a secondment with the general counsel and treasury group of a multibillion dollar hedge fund.

Jacob graduated, cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law. He also earned a B.A. in political theory and constitutional democracy from Michigan State University.
