KATIE SREENAN is a managing associate in the Labor and Employment group in the firm’s Chicago office, where her practice includes litigating, counseling, and advising on corporate transactions.
Through her counseling practice, Katie has advised clients on a broad range of matters, including: employee policies and trainings; employee and executive terminations; employee disputes; and, throughout the coronavirus pandemic, a wide variety of issues related to COVID-19 compliance and workplace-related issues. She also has experience in fact development and discovery, including: drafting and responding to written discovery; preparing fact, expert, and company witnesses for depositions; working with scientific and economic expert witnesses; resolving various discovery disputes; and day-to-day case management.
Katie earned her law degree, magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the University of Minnesota Law School. While there, she was the lead outside articles editor of Law & Inequality: A Journal of Theory and Practice, where she was given the “Outstanding Editor” award. Katie also served as co-president of the Minnesota Justice Foundation Student Chapter and worked as a roster-eligible qualified neutral and student director for the school’s Community Mediation Clinic. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in communication and psychology.
