MARIANNE TASSONE advises on U.S. and international tax matters, with an emphasis on international tax planning (inbound and outbound) and transfer pricing. She represents clients from a diverse set of industries ranging in size from early-stage start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, with a focus on emerging technology and life sciences companies.
Prior to joining Sidley, Marianne was an associate at a leading Silicon Valley law firm focusing on life sciences and technology industries where she advised on U.S. tax considerations in connection with domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, restructuring international operations for multinational clients, and advising companies and founders of non-U.S. companies on CFC and PFIC issues.
Prior to entering private practice, Marianne clerked for the Honorable Cheryl Eifert in the Southern District of West Virginia.
