MICHAEL TELFORD is a tax associate in Sidley’s Houston office where he advises clients on domestic and international tax considerations in connection with matters including initial public offerings, public and private secondary offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and debt restructurings.
Michael earned his L.L.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law and his J.D. from The University of Mississippi School of Law. While attending law school, Michael served as a Graduate Editor on the Tax Law Review and as an Executive Articles Editor on the Mississippi Law Journal. Michael graduated with an MBA from The University of Mississippi School of Business and B.S. in economics from The University of Utah.
