ALLEN THIGPEN practices in the litigation group of the firm’s Boston office. Allen represents clients in civil litigation, arbitration, and proceedings involving federal and state regulators.
Before joining the firm, Allen clerked for The Honorable A. Joe Fish of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, in Dallas.
Allen received his B.A. from Sewanee: The University of the South, and his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he served as a notes editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review and was a teaching assistant in Vanderbilt’s legal writing program. While attending Vanderbilt, Allen interned in the appellate division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida. He also served as an extern for Chief Judge Kevin H. Sharp of the Middle District of Tennessee.
Before law school, Allen was a deputy clerk for the Lake County Clerk’s Office in Tavares, Florida.
