ALEXANDER TRAUM is an associate in the firm’s New York office and a member of the global Insurance and Financial Services group. His practice focuses on representing insurance and reinsurance companies, insurance-related service companies, and other financial services entities in insurance regulatory matters, including in connection with corporate transactions, enforcement actions, market conduct examinations, insurance holding company act issues and licensing matters.
Prior to joining Sidley, Alexander practiced at another major law firm where he represented clients in insurance and reinsurance transactions and regulatory matters.
Alexander has also written extensively on insurance regulatory issues, particularly as they relate to the sharing economy and new technologies.
While attending Fordham University School of Law, Alexander contributed to the Fordham International Law Journal.
