ARIANE VINCENT advises governments and private stakeholders on all aspects of international trade law, with a particular focus on World Trade Organization (WTO) law and dispute settlement. Her experience includes disputes at the panel, appellate and compliance stages of WTO dispute settlement.
Prior to joining Sidley, Ariane worked with Geneva-based organizations focused on the intersection between international trade and sustainability. She has also held positions advising on land management, resource and environmental law and policy for provincial and territorial governments in Canada.
While completing her Master in International Law at the Graduate Institute, Geneva, Ariane advised on fisheries subsidies negotiations through the TradeLab International Economic Law Clinic and competed in the regional and final rounds of the John H. Jackson Moot Court on WTO law. She also has dual Civil Law and Common Law degrees from McGill University.
