KRYSTALYN WEAVER’s practice focuses on healthcare regulatory and enforcement matters.
Prior to law school, Krystal served as the vice president of policy for a national pharmacy association where she worked with trade associations, pharmaceutical manufacturers, policymakers, and providers to research, develop, and implement policies to improve patient access to medications and medication management services. In this role, she also led national stakeholder workgroups in developing consensus-based policy recommendations that continue to be used by state advocates and legislators.
In 2019, Krystal received the Distinguished Achievement in Pharmacy Management Award from the American Pharmacists Association in recognition of her thought leadership on many state-level policy issues affecting the practice of pharmacy.
As a licensed pharmacist, Krystal also has practiced in a community pharmacy and administered vaccines during the COVID-19 pandemic response.
Krystal received her J.D. from George Mason University, magna cum laude, where she was selected for the GMU Moot Court Board’s National Team. While attending law school, she was awarded Best Oral Advocate of the final round in the 2020 Billings, Exum, & Frye National Moot Court Competition, which her team championed that year.
