JULIE WELTMAN practices in the Capital Markets group in the firm’s New York office. She focuses her practice on corporate and securities law matters, representing issuers and underwriters in public and private transactions of debt and equity securities.
Julie received her J.D. from Harvard Law School where she was an editor of the Harvard Business Law Review. While in law school, Julie was also a teaching fellow in the Harvard University Department of Economics. Julie completed her undergraduate education at the University of Texas with High Honors as a University Distinguished Scholar and member of Phi Beta Kappa. Through the Liberal Arts Honors Program, she earned a B.A. in Economics and Government, as well as earning a B.B.A in Finance, specializing in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking.
