SETH YARKONY is a managing associate in the firm’s Chicago office. As a member of the Investment Products and Derivatives practice group, he advises and represents clients in securities, derivatives and futures-related corporate and regulatory matters, including structuring and compliance issues for hedge funds, funds of hedge funds, private equity funds, feeder fund platforms, robo-advisers, managed accounts and commodity pools.
Seth earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he was a Notes & Submissions editor for the Notre Dame Law Review. His Law Review note, Show Me the Money: On Whether Car Dealership Service Advisors are Entitled to or Exempt from Overtime Pay Under the FLSA, was cited by the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in Navarro v. Encino Motorcars, LLC, 845 F.3d 925 (9th Cir. 2017).
Seth earned his B.S, cum laude, in Finance and Management & Leadership from Boston College.
