NATALIA ZULETA focuses her practice on international disputes, particularly investment treaty arbitration and international commercial arbitration.
Prior to joining Sidley, Natalia represented clients in domestic arbitrations seated in Colombia and the United States, as well as in international arbitrations conducted under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), American Arbitration Association (AAA/ICDR), and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). She focuses most of her practice in the Latin-America region and is a native Spanish speaker.
Natalia formerly worked in the Latin America practice in a New York City law firm, where she advised clients in the oil, gas, and construction industries in commercial and investment treaty arbitrations. Natalia also practiced at a law firm in Colombia, where she focused on commercial litigation and arbitration. She represented clients in both international and domestic arbitrations, including the enforcement proceedings of a foreign arbitral award before Colombia’s Supreme Court. She also handled litigation cases before local courts, representing multinational corporations involved in commercial and public law disputes. Natalia was also an intern at the Embassy of Colombia in the United States, where she conducted political, economic, and legal analysis to support the Embassy’s divisions.
