SAM ZWINGLI is an Associate in the Supreme Court and Appellate group. Sam represents an array of clients, including corporations and indigent defendants, at the Supreme Court and Appellate levels. She has experience drafting briefs, both merits and amicus curiae, at the Supreme Court. Sam also maintains a motions practice and represents clients in active litigation around the United States.
Sam earned her law degree at the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was the Vice President of the Law, Innovation, Security, and Technology Society. With a background in military history, Sam worked with University of Virginia law faculty and the National Security Policy Center while obtaining her J.D. to coordinate and host national security conferences and the Stanton Series on Liberty and Security. She also conducted research for members of the U.S. Intelligence Community.
Before law school, Sam worked as an Advance Associate on the Hillary for America Presidential Campaign. She negotiated and directed travel, lodging, and debate preparation for Vice Presidential nominee Tim Kaine and former Virginia Secretary of Education Anne Holton.
