Tell us about your role at Sidley.
I’ve been at the firm for 19 years, and am currently in the role of Senior Creative Manager in the Marketing department, which I’ve held for three years.
What do you enjoy most about the work that you do at the firm?
After all these years, every day is still a new day filled with new challenges. Fortunately, the firm’s creative needs are always different and evolving, so it’s never boring.
When you reflect on your AAPI heritage, what makes you smile?
Honestly, it’s the food! In my opinion, it’s rare to find good and authentic restaurants that take the time to cook and prepare the food like what you would get in Asia. Having certain dishes brings back good memories of holiday dinners with my family.
What do you do for fun? Is there a hobby or other personal interest that would surprise people to learn about you?
Before the pandemic, I really enjoy traveling and seeing the world. I try to be outdoors as much as I can since I spend most of the day stuck indoors behind a monitor – I prefer to go hiking, snowshoeing or snowboarding.
