Recent fines in excess of £100 million have demonstrated that cybersecurity is a critical area of data privacy risk, due to the information security standards and strict data breach reporting requirements set out in the GDPR and financial conduct of business rules.
In this workshop, we will look at the nature of cybersecurity attacks as they impact financial services firms and how they are evolving. We will then take you through a practical cybersecurity data breach tabletop exercise, where you will be guided, step by step, to take action: organize the team, respond to the cybersecurity breach, communicate to key stakeholders and remedy the damage. Throughout the session, you will learn about the legal implications of a cybersecurity breach, the likely impact on your organization, plus the long-term implications and preventative measures.
