Testing, either for the presence of the virus itself or for antibodies to the virus, is considered by many to be an essential part of our public health strategy. Testing, or alternatives to testing such as symptom tracking, may also be useful as a component of a return-to-work strategy. We will discuss:
- Current state of viral and antibody testing and tracing, with a focus on employers and their employees
- Use of testing as a component of a return-to-work strategy
- Legal issues relating to alternatives to testing, including symptom trackers
- Legislation being contemplated regarding testing, reporting and contact tracing
