Latino Leaders magazine recognized Yvette Ostolaza in two separate categories, naming her to their “Top Latino Lawyers of 2018” as well as the “Most Powerful Women in Law” lists.
Yvette was commended by the magazine for her leadership at Sidley as managing partner of Sidley’s Dallas office, member of the firm’s Management and Executive Committees and as global co-head of the firmwide Litigation practice. She was further praised for her work handling all aspects of complex disputes and investigations, litigating matters in U.S. state and federal trial and appellate courts, and coordinating proceedings in a variety of arbitration venues.
Latino Leaders’ fourth annual “Top Latino Lawyers” list identifies the top Latino lawyers who serve as “examples of leaders that work to bring justice in our country.” Winners were selected from over 600 nominations based on their achievements and recognitions, community involvement and affiliation with bar associations. The inaugural “Most Powerful Women in Law” list profiles impactful women lawyers making “major strides in the name of women and of Latinos.”
