Sidley represented Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets Holdings Pty Limited (MIRA), as private equity sponsor, in connection with the AUD 1.85 billion (equivalent to US$1.43 billion) term loan B transaction, the largest ever done in the Australian market, twice as large as the nearest deal. This financing is being used to part-fund MIRA’s and Aware Super’s joint buyout of the ASX-listed fiber network provider Vocus Group.
