Houston associate Eduardo Marquez Certucha has been selected as a member of the 4th Institute for Energy Law’s (IEL) Leadership Class. Forty accomplished professionals from nine states, the District of Columbia, and Mexico were selected by a committee to take part in the 2021-2022 class. The prestigious program brings together rising energy professionals to build leadership skills for success in today’s climate.
Eduardo represents energy clients in a range of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, debt financings, and cross-border transactions. He is licensed to practice law in Mexico and Texas and has professional experience representing U.S. and international companies with regards to foreign investment and cross-border transactions between the U.S. and Latin America, with a particular focus on Mexico.
Eduardo also serves on the board of editors of the Energy Law Advisor, the oldest electronic publication of the IEL, as well as on the board of the Texas Young Lawyers Association (TYLA).
