Sidley advised Israel-based Future Meat, an industry-leading developer of innovative technology to produce cultivated meat, in its US$347 million Series B financing, the largest ever investment in this sector.
The financing was co-led by ADM Ventures, and included participation from Menora Mivtachim and S2G Ventures. Other investors included Tyson Ventures, Rich Products Ventures, Manta Ray Ventures, Emerald Technology Ventures, ADM Capital (Cibus Fund), and Bits x Bites. The company noted these investors represent support from key players across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Future Meat opened the world’s first cultivated meat production line in Israel in 2021, and is planning to open a large-scale production facility in the U.S.
The Sidley team was led by Idan Netser (Emerging Companies, Venture Capital and Tax), and included Alina Azizian and Jake Funk (both Emerging Companies and Venture Capital).
