FEMI ABORISADE is an associate in Sidley’s Houston office. His practice primarily focuses on representing energy and infrastructure clients. Femi plans on assisting clients in mergers and acquisitions, engagements with private equity funds and renewable energy projects.
Femi graduated from Houston Baptist University in 2014 with a B.A. in Political Science and a Minor in Latin. He received his J.D. in 2019 from the University of Texas at Austin. While attending, he interned for the Honorable Judge Vanessa D. Gilmore at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, was an Assistant Editor for the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas and Energy Law, served as President of the Student Bar Association, was Dean’s Fellow for Hodges Society, and was a participating member of Thurgood Marshall Legal Society and Texas Business Law Society. Prior to attending law school, Femi taught Latin to 7–10th graders in the Katy, TX area. Femi is currently serving as a director of the Houston Young Lawyer’s Association and a director and trustee of the Houston Young Lawyer’s Foundation.
