MATT BINDER is a managing associate in the Product Liability and Mass Torts Litigation group in the firm’s Chicago office. His practice focuses on the defense of companies in products liability, toxic tort, and class action matters.
Matt graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 2019, where he was an articles editor for the University of Michigan Journal of Law Reform. He was also a finalist in the 1L Oral Advocacy Competition, for which he later served as a member of the Packet Design Committee.
Matt graduated summa cum laude from Wabash College in 2016 with a B.A. in Classics. A member of Phi Beta Kappa, he received the Junior Peck Medal for promise in the law and the McClain prize in Classics. In addition, he was a two-time finalist in the Wabash College Moot Court Competition.
