BIANCA CADENA practices in the litigation group in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Her experience includes handling matters within the White Collar: Government Litigation and Investigations and Commercial Litigation and Disputes practices. Bianca is a graduate of Columbia University and New York University School of Law. While attending New York University School of Law, Bianca was a staff editor on the Moot Court Board.
Representative matters include:
- Representation of the Corporate Compliance Monitor of HSBC Holdings plc, who was appointed by the U.S. Department of Justice, the UK Financial Conduct Authority and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, in connection with a monitorship resulting from a $1.9 billion resolution of money laundering and sanction violations.
- Representation of a major sports organization in connection with the United States Department of Justice indictment of numerous defendants involved in alleged corruption, including conducting witness interviews in connection with an extensive internal investigation.
- Representation of an eBook publisher in multiple actions filed by eBook retailers under Section 1 of the Sherman Act alleging a conspiracy to fix prices and reduce competition in the eBook industry.
Bianca also maintains an active pro bono practice, counseling clients on matters ranging from immigration law to criminal defense.
