CAYLA C. CALDERWOOD is an associate in the Commercial Litigation and Disputes group.
Cayla represented multiple automobile manufacturers in navigating their responsibilities under the Clean Air Act.
Cayla has recently worked on a complex commercial litigation between two large corporations in federal court.
*Admitted only in Washington; pending approval of application for admission to the D.C. Bar, practicing law in the District of Columbia under the supervision of principals of the firm who are members in good standing of the D.C. Bar.
Prior to joining Sidley, Cayla participated in the firm’s pro bono fellowship program where she assisted several environmental organizations in her hometown on Whidbey Island, Washington: the Whidbey Environmental Action Network and the Citizens of Ebey’s Reserve. She aided in a lawsuit challenging new Navy flight paths over local parks and investigated state and county legal mechanisms to address sea level rise. She continues her dedication to pro bono work at Sidley by taking on environmental matters.
