LAURA ASHLEY HARRIS is an IP Litigation associate in Sidley’s San Francisco office. Laura has worked on multiple IPRs and actions before the International Trade Commission and district court litigation. Laura’s matters have involved a diverse group of technologies, including mobile communications, medical devices, immunotherapy, and security systems.
Laura earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. She received her B.S. in Industrial Engineering and her M.S. in Engineering with a concentration in Integrated Technology Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
During law school, Laura was the Editor-in-Chief of the Georgetown Law Technology Review and President of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association. She also worked as a Teacher’s Assistant for Georgetown’s Computer Programming for Lawyers course for two years. Additionally, Laura competed in the Iron Tech Lawyer Competition at Georgetown, winning the Excellence in Design award.
Prior to law school, Laura worked as an Integrations Consultant for a leading professional services firm.
