BLAKE LONGORIA is an associate in Sidley’s Houston office where he advises clients on corporate and transactional matters, with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and corporate governance involving public companies. Blake has represented a variety of energy, infrastructure, power utility and software companies and also advises corporations facing proxy contests, as well as investor pressure related to environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.
Blake earned his J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. While in law school, Blake served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Lee H. Rosenthal in the U.S. Court for the Southern District of Texas. Before attending law school, Blake worked as a software implementation consultant. Blake graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in English from the University of Southern California.
