CEDRIC SELEY is an associate in Sidley’s Houston office. His practice focuses on representing private businesses and private equity funds in complex business transactions, primarily in the energy space. Cedric has experience representing clients with mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, general corporate matters and hedging transactions.
Cedric earned his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in 2014. While attending law school, Cedric served as a staff editor on the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law. Cedric earned his MBA from The University of Notre Dame in 2009 and graduated magna cum laude, with a B.B.A. in business management in 2004 from Loyola University New Orleans. Recently, Cedric was recognized by Best Lawyers as a One to Watch lawyer for Energy Law and Mergers and Acquisitions Law in 2021.
