LINDSAY WARDLAW is a member of the Global Arbitration, Trade and Advocacy group in Sidley's Washington, D.C. office. Lindsay focuses her practice on compliance with U.S. export control, sanctions, anti-boycott, and custom laws, as well as on anti-dumping and countervailing duty disputes and arbitrations between investors and sovereign states.
Prior to joining Sidley, Lindsay was a trade compliance manager and analyst at two Fortune 500 companies, focusing on building, continuously improving, and documenting their trade compliance programs. She is a licensed U.S. Customs Broker.
Lindsay earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was a student attorney in Michigan Law's International Transactions Clinic, the Editor-in-Chief of the Michigan Journal of International Law, and the student coach of the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team. During law school, Lindsay interned at the Department of Justice, where she worked on cases before the Court of International Trade and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
