JOSEPH ZALESKI is a managing associate in the Litigation group focusing his practice on environmental and energy issues. Joseph draws on past experience with agriculture and energy policy to assist clients on a variety of topics, including regulatory and litigation matters involving the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), the Clean Air Act (CAA), among other federal environmental statutory regimes.

Prior to joining Sidley, Joseph participated in the Firm’s pro bono fellowship program where he assisted Public Counsel in Los Angeles with the organization’s bankruptcy self-help desk and also assisted Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington with the organization’s immigration team and with Legal Network client intake. He continues his dedication to pro bono at Sidley by taking on immigration matters and representing a federal inmate in a re-sentencing appeal.
