Turnarounds & Workouts recognized Sidley and client HCR ManorCare on its list of “Successful Restructuring of 2018.”
Sidley was commended for the firm’s representation of HCR ManorCare in connection with the restructuring of its long-term debt obligations, which include a master lease agreement governing the company’s long-term care facilities and a senior secured credit facility. The Sidley team, led by Dennis M. Twomey (Chicago) and Jessica Boelter (New York), guided HCR ManorCare through its chapter 11 bankruptcy case, which included confirmation of HCR ManorCare’s pre-packaged plan of reorganization. The team also included William A. Evanoff, Matthew E. Linder and Allison Stromberg in Chicago.
The publication’s annual list highlights successful restructurings from the past year in which corporate restructuring professionals collaborated to restructure businesses, pay creditors and continue business operations.
