MARISSA ALTER-NELSON’s practice emphasizes complex, high-stakes litigation in connection with a broad range of business, commercial, and financial disputes; securities disputes (derivatives and securities trading); breach of fiduciary duty and other business torts; claims related to mergers and acquisitions; disputes in bankruptcy, cybercrime, and data breaches; and international and domestic arbitrations. She also defends companies in investigations brought by government agencies, including the Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice (DOJ), and Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
