MEGAN ARROGANTE practices in the global Insurance and Financial Services group in Sidley’s office in New York. She represents insurance companies, insurance producers, reinsurers, start-ups and investors on transactional and regulatory matters affecting the insurance industry. In particular, Megan has experience with structuring complex carve-out transactions through reinsurance and administrative arrangements. She also regularly advises clients participating in the insurtech space on a range of strategic and tactical issues.
Prior to joining Sidley, Megan spent seven years at CUNA Mutual Group, a mid-size insurance and financial services company. Her practice focused on corporate governance, investments and finance, strategic transactions, international and insurance regulatory matters. In particular, Megan played a lead role in CUNA Mutual’s reorganization to a mutual holding company, and led the transformation of the organization’s corporate governance function while serving as corporate secretary for more than 50 entities in the United States and abroad.
Megan graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School and was elected to the Order of the Coif. While attending law school, she was a managing editor for the Wisconsin Law Review.
