WILLIAM CAGE is a managing associate in Sidley’s Global Finance group. His practice focuses on representing borrowers and lenders in a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including acquisition financings, letter of credit financings, secured and unsecured loans, term loan and revolving facilities, asset and cash-flow based lending, and in connection with venture debt financings. Will has experience representing clients in various industries, including high tech, financial services, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, and renewable energy.
Prior to Sidley, Will was an associate at an international law firm representing private equity firms and portfolio companies in connection with the documentation and negotiation of credit facilities, convertible debt arrangements, acquisition financings, and senior debt and subordinated/mezzanine debt financings. He also represented startup companies in connection with the negotiation of financial arrangements, including venture debt financings, credit agreements with banks, lending arrangements with founders, as well as general corporate advice.
Will received his J.D. from Stanford Law School. He graduated with his B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Texas.
