GABRIELLE CUSKELLY focuses her practice on real estate and real estate finance transactions, including advising private equity funds, management companies, investment banks, institutional lenders, life insurance companies, and other real estate investors on both cross-border and domestic transactions involving various classes of commercial real estate, including office, hospitality, retail, health care, multifamily, industrial and mixed use properties. She regularly handles the origination of permanent, bridge or construction mortgage and mezzanine loans, the negotiation of intercreditor and co-lender relationships, joint ventures, and portfolio and “one-off” acquisitions and dispositions.
Gabrielle is recognized by Chambers USA as an “Up and Coming” lawyer in 2022 and 2023, for “building a strong reputation across real estate law, focusing on advising lender- or borrower-side clients in relation to mortgage or mezzanine financing” (2023).
Gabrielle is a member of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice, a member of the planning committee for the USC Gould School of Law Real Estate Law and Business Forum, and a member of the program planning committee for the Americas Lodging Investment Summit. She is also co-chair of the firm’s Pro Bono and Public Interest Law Committee in Greater Los Angeles.
