CAITLIN MATHENY practices in the litigation group of the firm’s New York office.
Before joining Sidley, Caitlin served as a staff law clerk at the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit for two years, where she assisted all the judges of the court.
Caitlin received her J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law where she won the Lowden-Wigmore Prize as a finalist in the school’s Julius H. Miner Moot Court Competition, and the Kirkland and Ellis Scholarship for the highest grade in her Securities Regulation course.
She received her B.A. from the University of Florida. Before law school, Caitlin was a corps member with Teach for America in Memphis, Tennessee.
