BENJAMIN SACKS is a managing associate in the firm’s Boston office and is a member of its Investment Funds and Private Equity Fund Formation practices. Ben advises private fund managers and institutional investors in connection with the establishment and ongoing management of private investment vehicles, including hedge funds, real estate funds and private equity funds.
Ben earned his law degree from Harvard Law School, where he served as Co-Editor-in Chief of the Harvard Negotiation Law Review and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Robert L. Ullmann of the Suffolk County Superior Court. As a law student, Ben also assisted clients with a variety of pro bono matters, including military discharge upgrades, applications for Social Security disability benefits and criminal defense hearings. Additionally, Ben served as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard College, where he taught an introductory course on economics.
Prior to joining Sidley, Ben practiced in the Private Investment Funds group at another leading global law firm.
