TAMARA SONENSHEIN is an associate in the firm’s Chicago office and a member of its Corporate group. Her principal areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, as well as corporate governance and securities compliance matters.
Tamara also maintains an active pro bono practice and was a recipient of the firm’s Thomas H. Morsch Award for Pro Bono Achievement.
Tamara received her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and was elected to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, she served as a Notes & Comments Editor for the Chicago-Kent Law Review and was a Member of the Moot Court Honor Society. Tamara graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.A. in Psychology.
Prior to attending law school, Tamara served as a Commander of Basic Training in the Israel Defense Forces.
