Join us for the second event in SidleyWomen's new lecture series, featuring Debbie Epstein Henry. After witnessing various changes in workplace communication styles the past few years, the renowned author and speaker will reintroduce us to public speaking. Regardless of seniority level or role, hesitation about public speaking can interfere with our ability to project confidence, effectively communicate with a client or colleague, participate in or run a meeting, moderate a panel, win someone’s trust, or command a room.
During this discussion, Debbie will provide her time-tested top tips to sharpen your message and overcome public speaking fears by sharing key skills needed to become an effective speaker. With concrete strategies and an interactive dialogue with Lisa Prager, General Counsel of the Agricultural Bank of China, and Cara Friedlander, Head of Litigation, Employment, and Regulatory Enforcement at SMBC, and with Sidley partners Lara Mehraban and Alexa Poletto, attendees will gain practical insight and tangible techniques to convey convincing messages and provide lasting impressions, on the road to success as public speakers.
