The Houston office of Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) named Leticia Parker, Maegan Quejada, and Tiffany Van its 2022 “Pro Bono Team of the Year.” Each year, KIND recognizes outstanding lawyers and volunteers who have gone above and beyond to assist unaccompanied children. The accolade is based on the Sidley team's exceptional contributions to KIND cases.
Founded by Microsoft and UNHCR Special Envoy Angelina Jolie, KIND is a nonprofit organization that provides pro bono legal representation and social services for refugee and migrant children in the U.S., Mexico, Central America, and Europe. Based in Sidley’s Houston office, Maegan is a managing associate, Leticia a legal secretary, and Tiffany a knowledge management lawyer.
