Sidley partner Doreen Rachal has been elected to serve as Chair of the National Bar Association Women Lawyers Division. The Women Lawyers Division (WLD) was established in 1972 as a vehicle for women in the practice of law to address the issues and problems that particularly affect, interest, and concern African American women. In 2019, Doreen was a recipient of the WLD’s “Outstanding Women Lawyer Hidden Figure/Impact Award.”
Based in Sidley’s Boston office, Doreen focuses her practice on white collar criminal defense, internal investigations, and criminal and civil government investigations, including grand jury matters. She is also a dedicated pro bono practitioner who has leveraged her experience and legal acumen to bring about meaningful, impactful change in (and beyond) Massachusetts through her numerous pro bono, community, and industry efforts.
